ENRICH K9 – Terms & Conditions

  1. Agreement

By submitting a booking enquiry, completing the Consultation Form, or engaging with any ENRICH K9 services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all services provided by Richard Hallam and Jodie Hallam trading as ENRICH K9 and are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

ENRICH K9 reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

  1. Definitions
  • Client: The dog’s owner, handler, or person engaging services
  • Trainer: Richard Hallam and Jodie Hallam, ENRICH K9
  • Services: Assessments, training courses, consultations, and support
  • Session: Any booked appointment
  • Course: The structured 4-day training programme
  • Consultation Form: The required form completed by the Client prior to any services
  1. Booking & Payments

Assessment

  • £180, payable on the day (cash or card)
  • Required before any training course

Training Course

  • 4 consecutive days (Mon–Thu)
  • Pricing:
  • Single dog: £960
  • Two dogs: £1440
  • Payment due upon completion
  • Payment methods:
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Klarna

Equipment

  • Not included in training fees
  • Clients must purchase approved equipment prior to training
  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Assessments

  • Less than 72 hours: 25% charge
  • Less than 48 hours: 50% charge
  • Less than 24 hours: 100% charge

Training Courses

  • Must be completed on consecutive days
  • Missed sessions are chargeable
  • Rescheduling is at the Trainer’s discretion
  1. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Complete the Consultation Form prior to services commencing
  • Inform the Trainer of any changes (medical, behavioural, legal)
  • Follow all training guidance provided
  • Use equipment only as instructed
  • Maintain control of their dog at all times 

The Client remains fully responsible for their dog’s behaviour, safety, and actions.

  1. Suitability & Right to Refuse
  • All dogs must be assessed before training
  • ENRICH K9 reserves the right to refuse or stop services if:
  • The dog is unsuitable
  • The Client is unable or unwilling to follow guidance
  • Welfare concerns arise
  1. Training Approach
  • Training is tailored to each dog and owner
  • Methods are balanced, structured, and welfare-led
  • The goal is reliable real-world behaviour and long-term independence from tools
  1. Results Disclaimer

No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes.

Results depend on:

  • Owner consistency
  • Environment
  • The dog’s history and behaviour
  1. Health & Welfare
  • Clients must disclose all relevant medical or behavioural conditions
  • The Trainer may recommend veterinary input where necessary
  • Training may be paused or stopped if welfare concerns arise
  1. Liability
  • The Client remains responsible for their dog at all times 
  • ENRICH K9 accepts no liability for:
  • Injury, loss, or damage caused by the dog
  • Failure to follow training guidance

Training takes place in real-world environments which may involve inherent and unavoidable risks.

  1. Equipment Use
  • Only recommended equipment should be used
  • Incorrect use outside of training guidance is the Client’s responsibility
  • ENRICH K9 accepts no liability for misuse
  1. Trainer Shadowing & Observation

ENRICH K9 reserves the right to allow trainers, students, or industry professionals to observe training sessions as part of ongoing education, mentorship, and professional development.

  • Observers may be present during sessions without prior individual approval
  • All observers will act in a professional and non-participatory capacity unless otherwise directed by the Trainer
  • Observers are bound by confidentiality and will not share personal client information
  • No sensitive personal data will be disclosed beyond what is necessary for the delivery of the session

If a Client has specific concerns, these must be raised in advance of the session.

  1. Media
  • Photos and videos may be taken during training
  • Used for training or promotional purposes
  • Clients may opt out upon request
  1. Communication & Support
  • Ongoing support is provided following training
  • Support is guidance-based, not continuous real-time coaching
  • Response times may vary depending on availability
  1. Payments & Non-Payment
  • Payment is required as agreed
  • Late payments may result in withheld services
  • ENRICH K9 reserves the right to recover unpaid fees
  1. Cancellation & Termination

ENRICH K9 may terminate services if:

  • Payment is overdue
  • Terms are breached
  • Safety or welfare is compromised

No refunds are provided once services have commenced.

  1. Data & Privacy
  • Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR
  • Information is used solely for the delivery of services
  • May be shared with relevant professionals where necessary (e.g. veterinarians)
  1. Acceptance

By submitting the Consultation Form or engaging with ENRICH K9 services, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
  • You agree to be legally bound by them
  • You accept full responsibility for your dog and its actions
